Friendly bunch over at Anandtech's Forums

While I have nothing against Anandtech itself, the people who frequent the forums are rather rude.  Using their Off Topic forum, I post a quick message saying we're looking for news posters.  Next thing ya know, I'm taking flack for "Spamming" and eventually the topic was deleted (not before Marty was kind enough to actualy take my post seriously and respond).  Apparently you're suppose to just know what the rules are when you first visit (God knows they don't post them anywhere) and know that you have to ask the MOD's for permission to "spam".  I personally don't think asking for help is spamming myself, otherwise the classified section in every news paper in the world is one giant spam collection that's been around longer than any of us.  Then they get mad when you say something about it and lock the topics you've created, and eventually, you get banned from posting, which is eventually what happened to me.  So a word of advice if anyone wants to check out Anandtech's Forums, DON'T SAY ANYTHING.
