More "video games are bad for your children", a bill introduced last week in Congress, if passed, would make it a federal crime to sell or rent violent video games to minors. While reading the Sure, they can stop children from buying violent video games, but they can't stop them from PLAYING the games. If a minor wants a game, it's as simple as back in the days when I wasn't old enough to buy cigarettes, HAVE SOMEONE ELSE BUY IT FOR YOU. What's next, a bill that makes it illegal for a minor to play a violent video game? I want to see them try and enforce THAT. I can just see it now, at the store buying a game, and I get carded for it. Article here. |
