More dirt from my inside source at Nvidia. This is again about workstation graphics, so if you aren't in the business of dropping $7K on your next vid card, this prolly won't concern you. Then again, its nice to look at & drool over :) This time around, my source has basically just confirmed what everyone knew was coming: an NV40 version of the Quadro FX 3000 that I've got linked above. The new card will be (not surprisingly) called the Quadro FX 4000, & will be based on the NV40 chip. The card will have 512MB of RAM, there will be a PCI-Express version, & there will be a version that supports framelock/genlock :)
