The world's most powerful digital camera is now in operation in Hawaii, in Mauna Kea to be exact. The camera, called megaprime, is able to image an extremely large area of the sky at one time using 350,000,000 pixels. I'll be posting a review of the Pentax Optio 430RS shortly. The 430RS, with a 4.12MP CCD almost has as many pixels. You won't want to miss it! Thanks to Ars for the linkage. |
