"According to the info we have at our disposal, on that day three new CPUs will come out. They are: Pentium 4 2.8GHz supporting 533MHz QPB, Pentium 4 2.66GHz supporting 533MHz Quad Pumped Bus and Pentium 4 2.6GHz, which will be the last Intel processor for 400MHz FSB frequency. 

The new solutions will be set as follows: Pentium 4 2.8GHz will cost $508, Pentium 4 2.66Ghz and Pentium 4 2.6GHz will cost $401. At the same time Intel will reduce the prices of its Pentium 4 2.53GHz and 2.5GHz. Starting from August 26 they will cost $243, having moved to the "best-buy" Pentium 4 processors in terms of price-to-performance ratio."
