The Proposed New WTC
Written by Benjamin A. Hunter

We've all heard the countless number of tragic and touching stories of those who lost their lives, and those who lost loved ones and friends in the WTC tragedy.  Many people all over the U.S. travelled to New York City to see the aftermath of ground zero simply because they couldn't believe that it was true until they saw it with their own eyes.  The sight alone has touched many people, and a lot of tears have been shed too.

A very dear friend of mine, who works very near the WTC, pre 9/11, was a part of the crowd trying to get to safety shortly after the attack.  So, you can see how this has hit home for me too.  For one person, who travelled from another country, it touched him in a way that could very well change the future of New York City, the families of the fallen victims, and the future of the world.

I know for many of you, this may seem irrelevant to any kind of technology, but, I assure you, it is very relevant.  This person, who is planning on changing the future of the city, and the world has a vision... a vision of technological advance, and a vision to rebuild the WTC and make it better and safer for those who will work and live there.  There is a Web site that shows what the proposed new WTC will look like, and will even have a Memorial Park to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11.  So without further adieu, here is the newly proposed WTC.  No matter what your choice, your voice can make a difference.  I've already cast my vote.  =)
