UpGrade is a painting some of you PC enthusiasts might appreciate: "Why the computer graphics card? Because I am really intrigued by computer components and technology. I can't explain why, but the shapes, the colors and designs suck me and my imagination in and keep hold of me until my mind can merge the wires, plastic, metal and glass with some kind of expressionistic design. Then, it spits me out and demands that I make something out of it. A strange thing to motivate an artist? I guess it's no stranger than a urinal, a painting done in human blood, or a sculpture made of feces. To each their own, and my own is inside my computer."
