| BBC News online has an interesting article about the possibility of using the sun to propel a spacecraft. A solar sail catches light particles from the sun and uses them to push the craft forward, making for a relatively cheap form of space transportation. A test craft is set to be launched on a rocket from a submarine this fall. | |
