| Color me impressed. NASA successfully switched Voyager 1 over to its backup systems from 7.8 BILLION miles away. That's twice the distance of pluto. The reprogramming was necessary since there was a problem with the primary system that would have eventually caused the 25 year old probe to send it's reports somewhere other than earth. | |
