Broadcom gives AMD ~$200million for TV biz

AMD's "asset-light" strategy involves dumping their consumer electronics division, including, of course, their TV chip biz. We've all known the sale was coming for a while, & now we know who's buying.

"AMD and Broadcom have entered into an agreement that would net Broadcom AMD's Digital TV business. The deal will cost Broadcom $192.8 million in cash."
