| I'm sure that OCIA will be updating their K10 overclocking guide once they read about this news. The guys at ChileHardware have scored a screenshot of an internal AMD document that explains AMD's AOD Extreme Hardware Requirements. Apparently AMD's working on some serious oc-friendly features for their next line of chipsets that will feature the SB750 southbridge. As if on cue, someone has already pushed a current generation Phenom 9850 to 3.4GHz using one of these new 790GX boards.... on air. 44C at 1.55v on a chip they picked up retail. Very interesting indeed. |
