First up, it seems that PA Semi purchase that we wondered about recently was indeed aimed at developing future iPhone chips in-house. I bet Samsung's a bit put out, but a. they had to see this coming, & b. I think they've got enough of a diversified product lineup that they'll be just fine.

Next in line is the rumor that Snow Leopard, Apple's next iteration of OS X, may not run on the trusty PowerPC chips of yore. I have to wonder how much of their fabled customer base they'll really be alienating if it's true, though.
