Adobe was fairly quick to fix the flaw that allowed the winner of the Pwn2Own contest to hack the Macbook this year. The update addresses 7 vulnerabilities in the player, and brings the current version up to 9.0.124.0.

Adobe hasn't just been busy with Flash, though. They've also just launched Media Player, which is built on the AIR framework. Media Player is seen as a competitor to Joost, and focuses on online playback of TV clips and shows. What with Joost and recently Hulu, the market's getting crowded, ain't it?
