Vista SP1 goes gold... where's XP SP3?

OK, so Vista SP1 has RTM'ed. Yes, it's later than hoped for, but hey, at least it's well on the way. You'll have to keep holding your breath for another four weeks or so, unfortunately. My question is: what happened to WinXP SP3?? The only thing you can find on MS's official site is still the "overview," & the release candidate is now officially six weeks old. I certainly haven't read any news about it lately...
