Consider the following facts: 1. there is no end in sight to the current HD disc format war, 2. dual-layer DVD burners can be had for far less than $50, & 3. upconverting DVD players that will pump your current collection out at 1080p can be found for far less than $100. Now, is it really any surprise that disc makers are gearing up for an expected jump in dual-layer disc demand?
