Atari officially leaves production business

Atari's officially quitting the development biz. There've been rumors of Atari's demise for quite some time now, but I guess it took a CEO stepping down to officially close the book on this chapter of gaming history.

"Along with the withdrawal from production, Atari CEO David Pierce has also announced his resignation. Curtis G. Solsvig III, Chief Restructuring Officer, has been appointed interim CEO and will assume Pierce's responsibilities for now."
