AMD 8.41 driver analysis and discussion at Phoronix

The Phoronix guys have burned the midnight oil to get you all the numbers & details following AMD's release of the 8.41 Linux driver for ATi-based cards. You can find the preview here, R300/400 performance here, & R500 performance here. Finally, they've also checked out the performance of a 2900XT with the new driver as well. The guys also think that AMD is fast-tracking their Linux driver development because of a statement in the press release that accompanied the 8.41 driver.
