Micron VP on the expansion of SSDs at DigiTimes

In part one of the interview, the VP of memory system development at Micron says that while notebooks are going to likely be the first expanded market for SSDs, enterprise servers aren't far behind. The reason? I/O:

"A good hard drive today can deliver about 100-150 I/O operations per second. A single NAND chip can deliver over a thousand I/O operations per second. So as controller technology emerges, I think we are going to see SDD controllers deliver optimized performance which will put NAND into the data center."
