The benefits of knowing exactly where your flight is on a map in the back of the seat in front of you are a bit questionnable beyond the entertainment aspect. British Airways has been doing this for a while, but without the Google Maps linkage. I suppose the added benefit is thus:

"Family and friends will also be able to pull up JetBlue.com and track any flight via the same Google Maps interface."
