DDR2 or DDR3 for your P35?
Written by t-readyroc

The P35 reviews have been floating around since yesterday (see our "reviews from the web edition" from this morning). Since the P35 sports both DDR2 and DDR3 controllers, the LegitReviews crew asks the question: which RAM performs best? They take some Kingston HyperX of both flavors & run them on the new ASUS P5K Deluxe and ASUS P5K3 Deluxe motherboards to find out.

"Right now there is no clear call as to what would be better for gamers and enthusiasts as it depends on your tastes. As with all new technology it will only get better as time goes on and with memory companies hitting ~1,800MHz on the initial 512Mb DDR3 IC's it shows great promise for the new memory type."
