Halo 3 release date announced; beta available

Game developer Bungie has finally given Halo 3 a release date. In preparation for the launch, they've also put up a beta guide, that covers just about everything you need to know to familiarize yourself with the beta, which is now available on XBox Live. Unfortunately, the beta no longer includes the "Cheneymania" award for nailing ten opponents in a row with the shotgun without dying...
