Gaim/Pidgin 2.0 final released!

In case you've been under a rock, GAIM became Pidgin last month. The name change is the result of a long legal battle with AOL (of course). The big news today, however, is that GAIM/Pidgin is finally out of beta. Yep, you read that right, 2.0.0 has finally been released. I'm betting it's the same code-base as the 2.0.0 beta 7 I've been running these last few weeks, & it's running on top of the same version of GTK, but hey, a final release is something we've been waiting a looooooooooong time for... Their website's getting Slashdotted right now, but you can grab the files directly from SourceForge.
