Dual-DVI R600 cards still get audio via HDMI

The Inq has a couple of stories posted on R600's HDMI, including HD audio, capabilities. Lots of questions were asked yesterday when an HIS 2900XT showed up on the web that only sported a couple of DVI outputs. Well, it seems that the audio will be riding down the DVI pins as well, to be converted to HDMI via an external dongle.
