Intel's P35 - Gigabyte style; at HardwareSecrets
Written by t-readyroc

The guys at HardwareSecrets were able to get up close & personal with Gigabyte's upcoming P35-based motherboard. They give a quick preview of the DDR3-supporting chipset, along with a look at the board itself. Very odd that the board includes slots for both DDR2 and DDR3. Six RAM slots on a mobo definitely looks odd (for a desktop board).

"P35 (codename 'Bearlake') is the next Intel chipset family that will be launched on June 4th. The main new features include support for DDR3 memories, a new south bridge chip, ICH9, and support for 1,333 MHz external bus."
