This one's kind of common sense to me. Putting two different lasers into a player can't be all that hard, & until these monkeys get their differences resolved, this is the practical way of making everyone happy. I just don't see the studios picking up on Warner's hybrid discs.

"By creating a player that will accommodate both HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs, the Korean manufacturer may have created a precedent that the rest of the industry will have to follow. ABI Research forecasts that such universal players will become the norm, not the exception, benefiting confused consumers unwilling to commit to one DVD camp or the other."
