Are small form factors the next "big thing" (punny) for chipmakers? AMD's already announced their DTX initiative, & now this bit of news. I personally am not entirely sure why AMD had to announce a new SFF when something like mini-ITX was already developed & widely used, but what do I know? Biggest winner in this deal looks to be VIA...

"According to Intel's roadmap, the Mini-ITX will be one of the form factors for the platforms based on entry-level processors, and Intel will also recommend that PC makers use Mini-ITX motherboards for the production of small- form-factor (SFF) PCs, the sources indicated."
