Samsung sampling 50nm flash memory

Samsung has shrunk their 2GB flash cards to a 50nm process, & has begun sampling the silicon. They're apparently working towards pushing the technology into their Solid State Disk (SSD) development.

"The page function has been doubled in size compared with previous NAND flash memories and ahs enabled the memory to double the read speed, while increasing write performance by 150 percent, Samsung added."
