BitTorrent isn't just a file peer-to-peer file transfer technology, it's also a company, & it appears that company has just bought-out/acquired/merged with µTorrent. µTorrent is my BitTorrent client of choice, so I really hope this move doesn't ruin it in any way. I can definitely see BitTorrent's reasoning behind the acquisition: they've made a couple of multi-million dollar deals in the last year, & their own client was, shall we say, rudimentary at best.
