Yes, more guides. I expect to see even more as the holiday season gets closer & closer. Seems everybody's got an opinion on what you should be buying, & how you should be buying it. Me? I'm done with my shopping :-P

TechARP have posted their 2006 gaming PC buying guide, in which they put together a solid gaming rig for just a hair over $1K. Add another video card for SLi, & your total only comes to $1150. Not too shabby at all.

TechwareLabs on the other hand, have posted their notebook buyers' guide. They cover the types of notebooks and their possible components, then they present three different user scenarios & the laptops they think fit those profiles. Finally, they give a quick run-down on a couple of different ways you can buy your notebook.
