DigiTimes has posted a report from Commerical Times that's got the date in it. Dell's sucking up AMD's inventory? Naaaaahhh ;-) I guess the old "be careful what you wish for" axiom's likely going around Sunnyvale right now...

"The report said AMD will introduce its new dual-core Athlon 64 X2 CPU (codenamed Brisbane) on December 5. The reason behind the launch, which is called earlier-than-expected, is said Dell's considerable consumption of AMD CPUs that caused the CPU shortage at the clone market."
