Following along the lines of Samsung, HTC is planning to build a UMPC device that will incorporate cell phone capability. The Reg has the details, which they've conveniently sucked-down from an interview in the Seattle Times.

"The move would certainly be a logical one for HTC, which last year launched 'Universal', a 3G PDA phone handset with a fold-up-and-rotate 640 x 480 display and a QWERTY keypad."
