Wow... I remember the day when Eudora was the email client of choice, much of which had to do with the fact that it was both a Windows & a Mac app. This news is certainly a shot in the arm for Thunderbird, which is looking stronger everyday. Now if only they would integrate an iCal & address book setup that would sync w/my Windows Mobile phone...

"In the future, customers will be offered no-cost versions of Eudora based on the Thunderbird e-mail application. Those programs, to be released in the first half of 2007, will be open-source and freely available, Qualcomm said."
