Engadget's got two stories posted about potential prices for upcoming items today. First off, someone spotted Microsoft's Zune player listed (however briefly) on Walmart's website. Seems the Zune will retail for somewhere around the $280USD mark for the 30GB version. This price would place it ~$80 more expensive than the vanilla 5G 30GB iPod. The second story is for yet another Microsoft product: the XBOX 360 will indeed be getting its HD-DVD drive. The drive will go on sale in Japan in November, & will retail for about ~$200USD when it reaches the US. More interesting, perhaps is the other tidbit that the 360 will soon get an update to allow upscaling to 1080p... |
