This one from the "stick it in the customer's eye" department: EA has signed on two advertising firms to bring ads to their upcoming console & PC games. Ads in BF2142... yet another reason why I'll be an ET:QW guy.

"Redwood City, California-based EA said its agreement with Massive Inc., which Microsoft Corp. bought earlier this year, will include up to four video games. The first of those will be 'Need for Speed: Carbon,' the latest iteration of its popular racing series due in late October."
