Interview with Mindware Studios at Phoronix
Written by t-readyroc

I think we're all going to see more & more ative Linux clients for games in the future. id has been doing it for years, but I think the number of game developers publishing on the Linux platform will only continue to grow. Phoronix sits down with lead programmer at Mindware Studios, Patrik Rak, & picks his brain on their upcoming title, Cold War; among other things.

"Phoronix: Will all future Mindware titles have Linux-native clients? P.R.: Very likely. Internally, we run Meng on several of our Linux development machines every day, so the client itself is not a problem. However, getting the finished game to Linux users might be. It depends mostly on how our future publishers will treat the Linux community."
