Dell announced yesterday that it would be expanding its partnership with AMD by ordering a few million more PCs & laptops running the Sunnyvale company's chips. It also announced, unfortunately, that the SEC has begun an "informal investigation" into its accounting practices. Only time will tell which of these stories is the bigger news...
