| Inq RAM news - dual-channel at its end? |

| The Inq has a couple of articles up about DDR & DDR2 today. The first one points out that while all new tech is based around DDR2, plain ol' vanilla DDR continues to outsell it's younger sibling. Not very surprising, imo. The next little RAM-related blurb is a bit more interesting, however. The Inq boys have heard along the grapevine that the dual-channel movement that's been AMDs foundation for the last couple of years may be at an end. Higher benchmarks with only one stick? I'll wait to see the numbers on this one, but it'll be interesting if true. |
