In case you missed it yesterday, DailyTech got hold of a pricing sheet that shows the upcoming price changes for AMDs processors. The changes, which will occur on the 24^th of this month, will effectively cut the price of many of AMDs chips in half, proving, yet again, that competition is a good thing.

"The upcoming July 24th, 2006 price cut is the only planned price cut for quite a while. There’s no word on other upcoming price cuts yet, though it wouldn’t be surprising to see AMD cut prices when Brisbane production ramps up."
