Microsoft to support OpenDocument formats

Looks like MS will support the OpenDocument formats after all. I can only imagine that this is a result of the need for interoperability from the hundreds (thousands?) of other clients out there who need to work in office environments that support both...

"The Open XML Translator project will be hosted on SourceForge.net, and is available under the BSD open source license. Microsoft says anyone can submit bugs and contribute to the project."
