Picasa for Linux available

Picasa, the free software from Google that was voted the best photo management software by PC Mag, is now available for the Linux platform. You can grab the 24MB download, which includes Picasa software, Wine and Gecko engine here. System requirements at the link.

"Picasa for Linux runs the current Windows version of Picasa using a carefully tested version of Wine, an open-source implementation of the Windows application-programming interface (API)."
