Well, apparently the rumors that we posted last week about the possibility of Apple ditching its Aperture software altogether were false. Apple has just released an Aperture update (now to 1.1.1) & responded to those rumors.

"Apple's statements today seem to support the notion that Apple is maintaining strong development support of Aperture, although they do not necessarily refute the notion that the original team may have been disbanded."
