DRM and fair use at ASELabs
Written by t-readyroc

Aron over at ASELabs has posted an article outlining why he believes that DRM violates the consumers' right to fair use. After Vista becomes widely accepted, this kind of thing will be enforced at the hardware level, so we may just be stuck with it unless something drastically changes here soon...

"Fair use is what gives consumers basic rights to content that they purchase. Copyright owners have been against fair use since the first piece of electronic recording equipment was released. Consumer rights are being violated by DRM."
