nVidia's upcoming Tritium performance platform
Written by t-readyroc

The [H] guys have had their ears to the ground lately, waiting for anything they might be able to pick up about the impending AM2 launch, as well as the nVidia chipsets that will go along with it. Yesterday, they noted a post at HKEPC that referenced what they believed to be an upcoming nVidia GPU code-named "Tritium." Well, a loyal [H] reader has jumped in & clarified things: it's going to be a performance platform, not a GPU. Still very interesting...

"...when 'Tritium' MCP chipset used in with a 'Tritium' GPU, north bridge, south bridge and PCI-E’s operating clock will be 1.3 times higher, or more, than normal spec, this will provide higher data transfer rate."
