AMD Announces 3DLabs, ATI, Matrox and SiS to Support AMD Opteron™ and Athlon

At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), AMD announced that leading graphics cards manufacturers 3DLabs, ATI, Matrox and SiS are planning to develop graphics cards supporting the upcoming AMD Opteron™ and eighth-generation AMD Athlon™ processors.

The folks at Thermaltake have hooked you guys up real good! I have, sitting in front of me, a Thermaltake Volcano 7+, a Thermaltake Volcano 7, and a Thermaltake P4 Dragon 478.

Anybody want one?

Yes? Good. Here's how you go about trying to get one.

1. Register with GeekExtreme.Com as a user.

2. Three times between now and June 7, 2002 we will look to see "Who's Online." We will randomly select one of the members currently online and will notify them through the internal private messaging system on GeekExtreme that they are the winner.

3. If you win, you must accept your prize within 7 days. If you live outside the continental United States or Canada, you will have to pay shipping and handling to receive your prize. Shipping is provided to those living in the continental United States or Canada.

4. Employees, Family members, and business affiliates (people who pay us for advertising or those who provide us with review product) are prohibited from accepting a prize if they win. (You can still register as a member.)
