All in one VGA Cooling Solution Vantec Iceberg is reviewed at ThinkComputers.Org - Check it out!
There are many different VGA coolers out there, in contrast there are many different small chip coolers. Most of these products are sold seperately, usually the VGA cooler by itself and the small chip coolers by themselves. Well Vantec has a new product out called the Iceberq. Its a all in one VGA and chipset cooling kit.
Our very own No Carrier, my best friend, and the best man at my wedding turns 25 today. Now I'm not one to drag things out (No Carrier, get off the floor -- stop laughing) but I'm gonna do it this time.
No Carrier and I weren't always friends. In fact, we were bitter enemies at one point. Now I won't go into the stories behind our friendship-to enemies-to friendship road, but I think it says a lot about us to say we have a hell of a history together.
I've always wanted to get No Carrier involved in GeekExtreme, but for one reason or another, he's always stayed out of it. A few months back he decided to join GE, whether his purposes were noble or not is his secret, but he joined us. In that time, he has stepped up to the plate and not only become one of our most valued members, but he is actually largely responsible for major portions of the new look and feel to GeekExtreme. He's helped me keep things going when things were looking bleak for the future of GeekExtreme.
The point of this is, without No Carrier, GeekExtreme would not be half the site it is. No Carrier recently aquired a 25% interest in GeekExtreme, making him officially second only to myself. As part of his birthday gift, I am granting him an extra 2% for a total of 27%. (Mostly to make our friend Todd jealous, as 27 is his favorite number.)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NO CARRIER!

Fans meet the dark side of Web tickets

Did you buy your tickets for "Attack of the Clones" online? Better double check the date & time to make sure it jives with the theater's, unlike this boor bastard.
With ticket in hand, Craig Rankin thought he was going to see the new "Star Wars" movie early Wednesday morning. Instead, the showing was just a phantom menace.

Microsoft releases more duct tape for IE
Thursday, 16 May 2002
MS has issued a 2MB update for Internet Explorer 5.01, 5.5 and 6.0. Three of the holes plugged were deemed "critical". XP users should be prompted by Windows to download the update, the rest of us will have to do it the old fashioned way, the Windows Update Site.
NASA Hunts for Shuttle Parts -- Online -- On E-Bay and other sites like it.

Apparenty the Space Shuttles, which were first launched in 1981, need parts -- and a lot of these parts are so outdated, they aren't made anymore. Take for example the Orbiters. They use a type of disk drive that was outdated by the 70's. THE SEVENTIES. (8"?)
Is it just me, or is this just a teeny bit scary? Wait. It gets better.
The next time you want to use a keyboard while you're on the go, you might be using one of these spiffy virtual keyboards. An image of a keyboard is projected onto virtually any surface, and you simply "type" on the keyboard image.
