While Intel is attempting to phase out the P3 Xeon in favor of the P4 Xeon, the Inquirer has a funny little piece about the P3 Xeons smoking the P4 Xeons in an SMP configuration.

The Pentium III Xeon 900MHz with 2MB of cache – the so called Cascades processor – easily thrashes a Pentium 4 in a four way configuration but Intel wants the manufacturers to go with the current Xeon.

In the time I've been reading Reuters, I have never seen someone actually do any kind of product review, preview, recommendation, etc. until now.  Gene Emery, who either works for or is affiliated with Reuters, did a nice little piece on Jedi Knight II, and a quick look at upcoming games.
