Well, here's something that might actually make owning an iPod worthwhile: someone's come up with a way to run DOOM on them. Hehe... pretty cool. They've got a screenshot of it running on a Nano over there.

"Programmers Benjamin Eriksson and Mattias Pierre have announced that iDoom now runs on an iPod nano and features configurable controls. The game is a port of the classic first-person shooter to the iPod, which was first covered by The iPod Observer in August."

No... freakin'... way! Man.... Colecovision was the very first console that I played video games on. I can't believe they're going to come out with a new one... awesome.

"Look out, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo! Coleco, the company behind the Colecovision console of yesteryear, have promised that they’re working on a new version of the console. No other details are available, so for now, don’t get too excited. It’s probably not what you think it is."

Friday, 04 November 2005

Lestat sends word that Team Hardware Asylum has broken all three 3DMark records using a LN2 cooled FX-57 & a pair of volt-modded , dry-ice cooled 7800GTX's in SLi. Crazy overclockers & their cooling, I tells ya... ;)

"We have set the world records in 3DMark 2001SE, 3DMark ’03, and 3DMark ’05. We have also reached a few milestones with these records. We are the first to ever reach 50,000 points in 3DMark 2001SE, and the first to ever reach 40,000 points in 3DMark ’03. We also hold the world record of 17,560 points in 3DMark ’05."
