The TR crew are also going in the other direction today, with their preview of Intel's upcoming Woodcrest processor. This processor will replace the Xeon, & run on a new chipset coined Bensley.

The boys over at the Inq have gotten their hands on a prototype HDMI X1600 card from PowerColor. It's got an SPDIF input, so you run your sound card to your video card, then to your HDTV via the HDMI output. Crazy.

"The card is equipped with VGA and HDMI and you can naturally connect them both. VGA works well, as expected, and we didn’t have any problems using the HDMI."
