BBC MULTIMEDIA BRINGS FIGHTBOX TO E3

Definitely BBC Multimedia's day to announce what they're doing for E3, here's another one!


BBC Multimedia, the software publishing division of BBC Worldwide, is demonstrating a groundbreaking new project at this year's E3, which brings together television and the Internet with the world of computer gaming.

The FightBox concept, which premiers on BBC Television in the UK later this year, will be brought to the PC, PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance/SP, following the TV show's transmission.

In addition, visitors to BBC Multimedia's stand have the chance to sample the publisher's wide range of PC and console games and award-winning children's software.

Bob The Builder - Bob's Castle Adventure

BBC Multimedia, the software publishing arm of BBC Worldwide, is publishing 'Bob The Builder - Bob's Castle Adventure' on PC CD-ROM.

Due for August 2003 launch in the UK, 'Bob's Castle Adventure' combines the appeal of the television series with fun and learning in an interactive format. The software's ten activities are being developed in line with the National Curriculum Foundation Stage.

The new title follows the International success of BBC Multimedia's "Bob builds a Park" PC software, "Fix It Fun" title on Game Boy Color, and PC and PlayStation products "Can We Fix It?". These titles are now available in 11 countries around the world, having shipped over a million units worldwide. As well as this sales success, the Bob the Builder titles have won eight industry awards between them.

BBC MULTIMEDIA PUBLISHES ENGIE BENJY PC CD-ROM

BBC Multimedia, twice awarded the Best Children's Software Company* accolade, is to publish a children's entertainment PC and Mac CD-ROM title based on the TV series Engie Benjy.

The publisher has appointed software developer Q&D Multimedia Ltd to the project. Q&D specialises in developing titles for the children's market, and has won awards for its pre-school education and entertainment software.

Engie Benjy features Ant and Dec as the voices behind the TV programme's star characters.  Dec is the voice behind the star of the programme, Engie Benjy. Ant plays Jollop the dog - Engie Benjy's best friend.
