Official Portal demo released: 11 maps

Hidden in the announcement for the availability of Everyday Shooter on Steam was also a small blurb at the end: a Portal Demo has been released. The official demo comes with 11 maps. Didn't the full game only have 19? Maybe it's just me, but this sounds like one helluva freebie here. I'd like to know which maps they're using... user generated? New content from Valve? Details, people!! We needs 'em!!
 
ETQW 1.5 near finished; Flash Portal maps now map pack

It's been nearly three months since the release of the ETQW 1.5 Beta, and though the update hasn't been officially released, there's now a devblog post that details the changes in 1.5. I'd say the beta stage is nearing its end.

Meanwhile, the maps from the flash-based version of Valve's extremely popular Portal puzzle game have been ported to an unofficial map pack for the retail game. I've personally played through several user-created Portal maps, & a few of them are excellent additions.

 
TF2: Goldrush screens and video

Joystiq's got four screenshots and a video clip of the new TF2 map, Goldrush. Head on over for the content if you're interested. Looks like a pretty big map...

X3F has posted a video overview to each of the four new CoD4 maps you'll get with the DLC pack, along with a quick description of each. You can add the video to your portable player, watch it streaming, or download the file manually. Head on over to see what your 800 MS points will get ya.

Kotaku's churning the rumor mill that the Bioshock sequel/prequel may include other platforms based on the job postings on the 2K web site. Wii, anyone?
